Moving Along

Well so far we're all hanging in there.

Work kept me super busy this week.
Tiffany (my little sis) has been staying with Dad all week keeping him company. It was good to see both of my sisters together for a change. We haven't all been together for three years. It's kind of ironic actually.
The last time we were together was when our biological father turned 60 and now we're brought together again when our mother dies at 60.
Odd.
Tiff has to go home tomorrow morning back to Wisconsin. She leaves around 7am Est. Dad is going to come over after she leaves since. He has to drive all the way to Tampa to take her to the airport, he might as well stop over. He's been wanting to see hubby since he didn't get to see him much during all this. Hopefully he'll get here before Walt heads to work.
I figured I'll make him one of his favorite breakfasts of biscuits and gravy with eggs over easy. It'll be a nice morning.

I'm a bit worried about him once he goes home since it'll be the first time he's in the house alone. I know he's not going to be staying long as he's planning a road trip in a couple of weeks for awhile. He needs to drive up to Wisconsin to get Abby, his white lab. One of Mom's last written words was "Get Abby".
So that's what he's planning to do.
He'll stop and see his mom who is pushing 83 and still a spitfire on her own.
It'll all do him some good. But I'll miss him.

So we're all hanging in and moving along as we should. The Tao tells us wallowing in misery can cause the body to be sick and although that was written 4000 years ago, modern medicine is finally figuring out it's true.
So I sit here sipping down the last of my silver needle tea, writing to my online family and friends.

Thanks to all who have sent me comfort, support and love on my blogs or email or IM. I treasure all of you.
Hugs!

Tara
